नई दिल्ली-अमरनाथ तीर्थयात्रियों के आतंकवादी हमले में मारे जाने को लेकर आज मुंबई में रज़ा एकेडेमी ने ज़ोरदार तरीके से विरोध प्रदर्शन किया. अमरनाथ यात्रियों के समर्थन में नारे बाज़ी करते हुए प्रदर्शनकारियों का कहना था “रज़ा एकेडेमी अमरनाथ पीड़ितों के साथ है और हम इस हमले की घोर निंदा करते है, इस्लाम मानवता का पाठ पढाता है तथा इस तरह का हमले करने वालो का कोई धर्म नही है, इसके साथ साथ हम बहादूर ड्राईवर सलीम की सराहना भी करते है की उसने अपनी जान पर खेलकर 56 तीर्थयात्रियों को बचाया, अगर ऐसे ही सभी देश के नागरिक बन जाये तो हमारा देश अमन की बगिया बन जायेगा”. मिनारा मस्जिद, मुंबई के बाहर प्रदर्शन  के दौरान भारी संख्या में लोग उपस्थित रहे जिन्होंने एक स्वर में अनतनाग में हुए आतंकी हमले की घोर निंदा की.

Shiv Sena candidate Vishwanath Mahadeshwar will be elected as Mumbai's Mayor on Wednesday. The mayoral election will be held in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation at 12 pm. However, for Vishwanath Mahadeshwar the ride from nomination to mayor election date has not been smooth. He has been alleged to have grabbed a flat meant for BMC employees and have obtained salary from government-aided college during elections. While the Sena has denied such allegations, both the cases are in court. Mumbai: In what may spark a fresh controversy, Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi on Monday accused Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar of resorting to the ‘drama’ of surrogacy because “he couldn’t get a girl to marry.” Azmi said even if Karan Johar could not marry, then instead of surrogacy he could have gone for adoption. “Couldn’t he get a girl to marry? And if not, then there are so many poor people. He could have adopted two or four. It looks as if he is mocking the poor,” Azmi told the media here. Mocking Johar’s identity, Azmi said it looked as if the God had not made his better half. “Pairs are made by the God, but no one was made for him. If he has some illness then he can tell.
